Ann Lannert: A Survey聽features 25 artworks by Evansville native Ann Lannert.聽 Although Ms. Lannert has been creating art in various media 鈥渇or a lifetime鈥�, during the past twenty years she has focused on her 鈥渃omposites鈥�, which are enigmatic mixed-media assemblages, either boxed or free-standing.聽 Largely self-taught, Ms. Lannert has exhibited regionally for decades in solo and group shows, and has been honored with numerous awards.聽 Her work is held in many private collections and has been featured in reviews and articles.聽 Until a health downturn on 2009 she worked almost daily in her home studio in Evansville.聽 Ann Lannert is now 83 years old and the matriarch of a large family.
