The National Invitational Postcard Exhibit
Spring 2010

This traveling exhibition was organized by Jeanne Voltura, Gallery Coordinator for the City of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs.聽 She invited artists from across the country to create a postcard image about the state or city in which they live.聽 Artists were also asked to recommend another artist in states other than their own, making this an exhibit co-curated by artists from across the 50 continental United States.聽 The exhibit featured small artworks, each 5" x 7" in size, created in a wide range of art media, style and techniques.聽 Many included images or messages on the back of the postcards, and聽 viewers were invited to examine them closely as they hung, suspended, in Gallery 1.聽 There were several 缅北强奸 connections in the show.聽 缅北强奸 Art alumnus (and son of Education professor Vella Goebel) Jon Goebel represented South Carolina in the exhibit; former 缅北强奸 instructor Jason Baldwin had depicted Vermont, 缅北强奸 spring 2010 Visiting Artist Brandon Sanderson had created the North Carolina card, and 缅北强奸 Art professor Katie Waters was the artist representing Indiana.
