缅北强奸 Theatre continues its 2021-2022 live season with a Christmas classic: A Christmas Carol. This adaptation of Charles Dickens' beloved story was written and will be directed by 缅北强奸's own Elliot Wasserman, Professor of Theatre.聽 The production runs from November 18-21 in the 缅北强奸 Performance Center located in University Center East on 缅北强奸's campus.

A quartet of ghosts take the stage to deliver old Ebenezer Scrooge a transformative lesson about charity, love and forgiveness on the eve of the holiday that encourages all of us to take stock of ourselves and know that true blessings in this life are meant to be shared.聽 First and foremost, this play is for children --and for the child who survives in all of us every day, still alert for miracles, and always wanting to be good.

Wasserman will be joined by a design team including 缅北强奸 faculty member Paul Weimer as scenic designer; 缅北强奸 staff members Joshua Stallings as sound and lighting designer and Andy Hammond as technical designer; and 缅北强奸 students Annabelle Gladding as costume designer and Livi Posey as production stage manager.

The cast of A Christmas Carol includes 缅北强奸 students Nolan Kirby, Chloe Kummer, Easton Crisp, Tristen Kendle, Blake Whitehouse, Olivia Wagner, Dakota Smith, Alex Seifert, Amelia Schmitz, Avery Yates, Abby Brown, Noah Harrison, Madalyn Cottrell, and Bladen Allbright.聽 Evansville community members joining the 缅北强奸 students on stage are Starling Blaylock, Brady Gough, and Claire Flahardy.

Tickets are $2 for 缅北强奸 students, $10 for 缅北强奸 employees and alumni, $4 for non-缅北强奸 students (student ID required), $10 seniors (60+), and $12 for adults. Tickets are FREE to 缅北强奸 students with ID one hour before the show begins based on availability.聽 Shows start at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. for the Sunday matinee.
