The Ã山ǿ¼é is holding a Pre-Professional Medical Careers Showcase for high school students on Saturday, November 2, giving students the opportunity to learn more about medical careers including doctors, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, optometrists, physical therapists and chiropractors. At the event, high school students will network with current medical professionals, discuss career paths with medical professionals and Ã山ǿ¼é faculty, attend breakout sessions intended to assist students who are interested in medical careers in their preparation and meet current students who are pursuing medical careers.Ìý

Students who attend can also learn more about the pre-professional programs offered at Ã山ǿ¼é including pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, pre-chiropractic, pre-optometry, pre-physician assistant, pre-pharmacy and pre-physical therapy.Ìý

• 12:30 p.m.: Check InÌý

• 12:30-1:15 p.m.: Networking Reception with Practicing Professionals and students currently in Professional SchoolÌý

• 1:15-2:15 p.m.: Medical Professionals PanelÌý

• 2:30-4:00 p.m.: Breakout SessionsÌý

• 4:00-4:30 p.m.: Keynote with Dr. Maria Strobel, MD, MHA, Pediatrician at Vanderbilt’s VIP Children’s ClinicÌý
